Where I was sure I’d always be alone
And somewhere in a place inside
I realized that would be just fine
So when came the day I met your smile
And felt your warmth and cheer
I felt a bit bewildered while
I realized I want you near
Now some time has come and gone
Many good times and little bad
I’m grateful to have you by my side

You’re always kind and loving, you always encourage me even when I feel like everything goes wrong. You’re my rock in this crazy world, and I hope that I can offer something similar for you.
On this Valentine’s Day 2009, I just want you to know: I love you very much, and I appreciate all the sweetness you have shown me. These poems are for you, and for the next week every day will bring you something new.
